Already the new YMCA building on the Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road fits right in with the neighborhood, flanked by the Marthas Vineyard Arena on one side, Marthas Vineyard Community Services and the skate park on the other side, and the regional high school across the road.

Vote ‘yes’ on parcel tax measureWe are going to hear a lot about the replacement parcel tax ballot measure in the coming months, so I want to make an early plea to remind people of the overall quality of life that would be affected by closing our neighborhood schools.
